1. DARRELL DEE & BROOK FAULK will perform their acoustic country tunes at Eddie's Sports Bar ( 6300 Old Seward Hwy, 563-3970 ) this Friday & Saturday June 27th & 28th from 7:30 - 9 PM "on the patio" (weather permitting). DARRELL DEE is a Nashville recording star & our BROOK FAULK has just returned from touring in the states & recording her new album in Nashville, "I'M ON FIRE".
2. SCHULTZ & HAMMER, featuring DOC SCHULTZ ( banjo & vocals ), MATT HAMMER ( acoustic guitar, vocals, mandolin, flute ), LONA HAMMER ( vocals ), PAUL SCHLOMER ( harmonica ), & STU SCHULMAN ( bass guitar ) will perform at the Alaska Wild Berry Theatre
( 5225 Juneau St., 562-0497 ) this Fri. & Sat. June 27th & 28th at 6 PM & 8 PM ( 2 shows ).
3. BROOK FAULK will accompany THE KEN PELTIER BAND, featuring Ken Peltier on vocals & rhythm guitar, Bonnie Thayer on vocals & bass guitar, Merle Kidd on vocals & lead guitar (filling in for "Ranger Doug" McCullough), Mike Lashbrook on vocals & drums, & special guest Zack Roberts on guitar & vocals, will perform their "Country Rock" with at Eddie's Sports Bar ( 6300 Old Seward Hwy, 563-3970 ) this Fri. & Sat. 4. SNEAKY FEELING, featuring Pat Ryan on guitar & vocals & Paul Paslay on bass guitar & vocals, will perform at The Alaska Wild Berry Park Beer Garden ( 5525 Juneau St., across from Sourdough Mining Co., 562-8858 ) this Sat. June 28th from 1-3 PM.
5. MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT: Come out & thank a soldier, sailor, or airman at Mulcahy Park (16th & Eagle) this Saturday June 28 at 6 PM when the pre-game ceremonies start for MILITARY APPRECIATION NIGHT before the baseball game between the Anchorage Glacier Pilots & the Anchorage Bucs. Music will be provided by the 9th U.S. Army Band. See the attached or imbedded pdf file for the Schedule of Events. Admission is FREE for military personnel & their spouses & kids with military I.D.
