1. THE DEFROSTERS, featuring Mike Johnson on lead guitar & vocals, Lee Blair on guitar & vocals, Mike Stark on bass guitar & vocals, & Andy Toth on drums & vocals, will perform their "Mix of Blues, Soul, Funk, Rock, & Country" at the Delaney Park Strip for the Anchorage Neighborhood Housing Center's celebration for "Paint The Town" this Fri. June 13th from 4 - 7 PM.
2. DAN LESPERANCE, "A Cool Guitar Playing, Song Singing One Dude Show!", will perform his solo acoustic & electric guitar "Country, Folk, Rock, & Blues" at the Silvertip Grill ( Hightower St. next to the Mercantile, Girdwood, 907-783-2594 ) this Fri. 3. DON WALKER performs "Dance Music, Cha Cha, Waltz, 2 Step, West and East Coast Swing, Rock & Country" at the Golden Lion Hotel
3. BROOK FAULK will perform her "Country Rock vocals" with MERLE KIDD on guitar & vocals & ZACK ROBERTS on guitar at Eddie's Sports Bar ( 6300 Old Seward Hwy, 563-3970 ) this Fri. & Sat. June 13th & 14th from 9:45 PM - 2:15 AM. No info on who will play bass or drums at "press time". No cover charge. (

4. SILVER TRAIN BAND, featuring Pat Ryan on guitar & lead vocals, Paul Paslay on bass guitar & vocals, Dick Hedman on drums & vocals, Tom Lambert on keyboard & vocals, & Bob Horowitz on sax will perform their "Blues & Beyond" (& maybe some country, too ) at the New Peanut Farm ( 5227 Old Seward, 563-3283 ) this Fri. June 13th from 10 PM - 2 AM. No cover charge.
5. SNEAKY FEELING, featuring Pat Ryan on guitar & vocals & Paul Paslay on bass guitar & vocals, will perform at The Alaska Wild Berry Park Beer Garden ( 5525 Juneau St., across from Sourdough Mining Co., 562-8858 ) this Sat. June 14th from 1-3 PM.
6. MUSIC BY THE CREEK: Various bluegrass bands will come together outdoors to perform at the Arctic Roadrunner ( Old Seward & International, 561-1245 ) this Sat. June 14th from 2 - 9 PM.
7. CD RELEASE PARTY: "Matt Hammer's Surreal Sessions", the latest CD from longtime Alaskan musical entertainer & songwriter, Matt Hammer, will have its public debut & initial offering while Doc Schultz (banjo & vocals), Matt Hammer (guitar, mandolin, flute, vocals), Mz. Lona (vocals), & Paul Schlomer (harmonica) also perform at the Great Bear Brewing Co. ( 238 N. Boundary St., Wasilla, 907-373-4782 ), this Sat. June 14th from 8 PM - Midnite. No cover charge.
8. DON WALKER performs his "Dance Music, Cha Cha, Waltz, 2 Step, West and East Coast Swing, Rock & Country" at the Forks Roadhouse ( Mile 114.5 on the Parks Hwy, then go to Mile 19 Petersville Rd., 907-733-1851 ) this Sat. June 14th from 9 PM - 1 AM.

The MIKE OLSON BAND, featuring Mike Olson on lead vocals & rhythm guitar, Steve Quirk on lead guitar, Andy Toth on drums & vocals, & Ariel on bass, will perform their "Country & Southern Rock" at Club Oasis ( 4801 Old Seward Hwy, 561-9157 ) this Sat.
